Material Handler NOC 7452 – Evening Shift

Edmonton

Hours:

• Evening Shift 9:00 pm to 5:00 am

• Work schedule is subject to change as per operational requirements

JOB SUMMARY:

- The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting customers’ orders & properly preparing loaded pallets for   shipping

- Selection of product can occur from any area of the warehouse:

- produce

- grocery

- freezer

- cooler

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate power jacks in a safe & courteous manner

- Report any power jacks & other basic equipment concerns

- Accurately & efficiently selecting customers’ orders

- Lift & pile food service products (3 lbs. to 100 lbs.) onto pallets for shipping in a correct customer location/stop sequence

- Occasionally load trucks

- Maintain expected GFS Edmonton performance standards:

- Merge product onto pallets for delivery (repack, must-go’s items, cross-dock items, TBO (to be ordered)/NSLL (non-stock, non-list) items
